Hip Hop Tweeps Pt.2

by JK on July 15, 2008

Since the first version of this post a number of people in the hip hop community worth following have popped up on twitter. Here is a new list of people that matter:

  • Randy Exclusive – The guy runs the dope site Writer’s Block Media and just started tweeting. He knows what he is talking about and the dude is more entertaining on twitter than a lot of people you are following. So follow him.
  • Necole Bitchie – Her site keeps your ass up to date on all the happenings in the world of hip hop and R&B and on twitter she does the same. She is funny, and she looks good. You don’t need any more reasons.
  • John Gotty – He runs one of the biggest and best hip hop blog/news sites in the world, The Smoking Section. If you don’t know about that site you are not up on things, at all. So learn something.
  • Mdot – She has her own blog where she writes about everything from hip hop to politics and does so in an entertaining, honest manner. And she is no different on twitter.
  • Kandis Knight – Journalist from the ATL, hence the name of her site. She interviews hella up and coming artists and I got nothing but love for another young person on their grind. And she is on her grind.
  • CJAY – He gets into cool parties in NYC and shit. And I don’t. Well, I don’t live in the city so that must be why. But I’ll hide my inner J.O.E. and put you on to dude and his site.
  • Fabulousaura – She gets into cool parties too…here is her site. Mad? I’m not mad.
  • DWNews – She runs a site that let’s you know about the gossip in hollywood and it has a naughty name. And I like her color scheme on twitter.
  • Moe Arora – Just found out the guy is on twitter. Been following his blog for a minute. Let’s all be made moguls!

So the list isn’t as short as it was when I made part 1. Hopefully it won’t take long for me to make a part 3 either. I repeat, get your ass on twitter if you’re trying to build your brand. That’s all.
